These include: Fredricks CDV of Congressman Horace Maynard of Tennessee, Fredricks CDV of British war correspondent William Howard Russell, Brady cabinet card of Secretary of the Navy George Robeson, Anthony/Brady CDV of newspaper publisher George D. Prentice, Anthony/Brady CDV of a youthful Senator John Sherman, clipped signature of John Sherman, Brady CDV of an older Sherman, CDV of suffragette Lucretia Mott and her husband James (Broadbent & Phillips and Henszey & Company of Philadelphia back marks respectively), clipped signature of New York Mayor George Updyke (also signed by his wife Elizabeth, excised from a legal document), two CDV's of abolitionist Wendell Phillips (Warren and Gurney back marks) and an AQS of Phillips reading: "Peace, if possible/ Justice at any rate."
