    Abraham Lincoln: Funeral Car or Hearse CDV's. Pair of cartes showing drawings or paintings of Lincoln's funeral car. One is titled on the verso: "The Funeral Car on which the remains of President Lincoln were conveyed from the Executive Mansion to the Capitol, April 19, 1865" (published by Chase & Hatch). The other shows the "Funeral Car of President Lincoln. New York, April 26th, 1865". The verso has an advertisement for "P. Relyea, Furnishing Undertaker." He was the official undertaker who oversaw all aspects of the New York funeral, even signing a release form before Lincoln's body could leave the city.
