Description
Abraham Lincoln: Carte de Visite [CDV]. O-103, 2 3/8" x 4" on mount ruled in gilt; New York; 1865. Taken by Lewis E. Walker and published by E. & H. T. Anthony. Anthony backstamp and revenue stamp on verso.Condition: Corners of mount decoratively clipped. Toned with some scattered soiling. Small chip to top right corner of image. Pencil notation on verso, and some loss to revenue stamp. A great, sharp portrait with nice contrast.
