Abraham Lincoln: Booth and His Captors Album Page. 11" x 14" album page with four mounted albumen photographs and one engraving, all related to the pursuit of the Lincoln assassination conspirators. The captions are written in pencil and read: "Capt E. P. Doherty Comdg 16 N. Y. Cavalry Captor of Wilkes Booth, Boston Corbet [sic] The Man That Shot Wilkes Booth, Gen. O'Beirne, Wilkes Booth The Man That Shot Lincoln, and Death of Wilkes Booth". Except for the Booth image, the rest are quite scarce. The Corbett (in civilian clothes) may, in fact, be unpublished. An exceptional display piece.
