    4 3/4" X 7 3/4" Unmounted Albumen View Of Andersonville By A. J. Biddle. Negative #8218. Signed by Handy on the verso, along with period pencil note "Andersonville Prison showing open air toilets Capt. Wirtz (sic) (keeper) to (be) hung". Identified by the collector as "Showing the sinks and the unchanneled end Stockade Creek in a view taken from the first guard post south of the creek on the east wall." Latrine clearly in foreground with incredible mass of tents and ramshackle shelters in the background. Upper left and lower right corners chipped, else excellent with just some very minor, negligible fading.
