    Description

    [San Antonio]. Four Unidentified Cartes de Visite by Henry Doerr, Photographer, 2" x 3" in excellent condition and marked by the photography studio on verso. The pictures appear to be members of the same family although the images are not identified. Doerr arrived in San Antonio in 1865 and became one of the most prolific photographers of the area. His studio was along Commerce street and later, with a partner he produced a series of stereoviews of "The Alamo City."
