DescriptionSitting Bull: Cabinet Card by O. S. Goff, Circa 1881. The first image taken of the Hunkpapa medicine man shortly after his surrender at Fort Buford, Dakota Territory in the summer of 1881. Like many Sioux warriors after the Little Bighorn annihilation of Custer and his 7th U. S. Cavalry, he sought refuge in Canada for a period of five years. The seated Sitting Bull wears a single hair feather and holds a long stemmed peace pipe. Goff's Bismarck studio imprint verso with text "The Celebrated Hostile Sioux Chief in Command at the Custer Massacre." (see The Little Shadow Catcher - D. F. Barry by Thomas Heski).

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
HA.com receives more traffic than any other auction house website. (Source: Similarweb.com)
