Photographer McArthur Cullen Ragsdale: Seven Cabinet Cards. Each of these fascinating Texas cowboy scenes measures 10" x 6" and bears Ragsdale's stamp on the front. Three are entitled in print below the image, "Views of the Concho Country. San Angelo, Texas." (1) features two men, one of whom is likely a lawman and armed, escorting a shackled prisoner to his new home in San Angelo's first jail; (2) features a "Mexican Home" with five people relaxing outside the front door of the rock cabin; (3) features a view of a river running through a valley. Another image is entitled "Views Around San Angela, Texas" and features Texas cowboys eating around the chuck wagon. The final three cabinet cards bear only Ragsdale's imprint and feature the following: (1) cowboys roping calves; (2) a "Herd of Cattle watering in the Concho. 1885"; (3) cowboy Jack Miles standing over a roped steer and reading, "Jack Miles / Time 48 / Seconds." Minor soiling. A few bent or missing corners affect only the mounts with no damage to the albumens.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
