    Description

    Pasadena and Mayfield, California Establishments: Two Boudoir Cards. Two circa 1890 albumens, each measuring approximately 8.5" x 5.25". The first, mounted on an orange card, depicts the Park Hotel, in Pasadena, California. An inscription on the verso elaborates "Tilman and Saraetta Patterson proprieters [sic] of this Hotel when J. A. McGrew homed with them." The other image depicts the Mayfield, California business of Robert Thompson, so identified by pencil inscription on image "Robert Thompson's Place Mayfield." Some toning and wear to edges of card. From the estate collection of E. F. Mueller.
