    Lot of Two Cabinet Card Photographs of Nez Perce Indians, ca. 1900s. Pair of photographs of Nez Perce/Umatilla Indians from Oregon/Washington/Idaho area. Both photographs have full dressed Indian chiefs. One Indian chief is wearing a very large eagle feather war bonnet, has an exquisite pair of flower beaded gauntlets, a fringed leather shirt, what appears to be a small horse blanket under shirt, and he is also wears full beaded moccasins. In pencil verso: "Se Lu Pak lo Tim, pained eyes - Nez Perce, Francis McFarland." The second photograph is a young Indian, with single feather bonnet, a shirt which has been profusely beaded, many beaded necklaces, appears to have small mirrors on leather pants and beaded moccasins. In ink verso: "Property of Elida A. T. Miller, Luke Cawapo." On front of mount in ink; Luke Cawapoo. Large image measures approximately 7" x 9".

    Very good, light bends in photographs, mounts have wear.
