DescriptionGROUP OF COLORADO COWBOYS ROPING A STEER - BOUDOIR CARD - ca.1890. This group of Cowboys roping a Longhorn steer probably worked for a large ranch when this image was taken. The negative is marked, "W.J. Carpenter - Telluride, Colo." There is another notation in the negative to the left, which is difficult to decipher. The men all have the typical gear of an 1890s cowboy on, most have cuffs and chaps. There is a small nick out of the left-center side of the card, a chip to the bottom right and a small loss of emulsion to the top left. This image has very good clarity and contrast.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
