Chase had a studio in 1894. Chase was known for his scenic photographs taken in and around the Las Cruces area. In this image, a tiny mountain town nestled in a small pass, is lightly dusted with snow. Image measures 7.5" x 4.5" and is affixed to a slightly larger, dark mount with gilt edging.
