Cabinet Card Albumen Photograph: Virginia City, Nevada Looking Down C Street Toward the International Hotel, Circa 1890. 7" x 5", mounted to an overall size of 8" x 6". With a contemporary annotation in pencil on the verso reading "Virginia City - Nevada/ Looking down C. St/ Toward International/ Hotel on left". A superb photograph, visually rich with detail. Of particular note are the telephone poles stretching down the length of C Street and the Bell System sign attached to the pole in the left foreground. Well dressed men and women, a small terrier, and horse and buggy can easily be seen. Some soiling to the mat, else sharp and in excellent condition. Accompanied by several photocopies of contemporary photographs of the same general scene taken from different angles and included to verify the location.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
