DescriptionAttractive Full-Length Boudoir Image of Hopi Woman, 1899. Photographed by Christian G. Kaadt, this unidentified woman wears semi-traditional Hopi attire and balances a decorated ceramic pot on her head. She wears numerous rings and necklaces, one of which supports a Christian cross. Image measures 5" x 7". Lengthy and decorative information/advertising on verso. Kaadt's photo studio was located at Lower San Francisco Street in Santa Fe for just two months - June and July, 1899.
Condition: Shows light overall age toning. Minor wear to mount edges and corners. Fine.
