    Description

Annie Oakley: An Exceptional "Signed" Cabinet Photo. Among prominent personalities of American history and popular culture, few command more collector interest, and value, than the photos of "Little Sure Shot." This is one of her best-loved images, her jacket covered in medals and awards she earned. Crossed six-shooters in the lower right hand corner. Below the photo is a facsimile signature in thick, raised blue ink which would fool any casual observer. 4.25" x 6.5", on mount of Brisbois of Chicago. Excellent condition, with a trivial bit of paper loss on otherwise very clean reverse, noted for strictest accuracy. From the Collection of the Late Edward C. Gillette.
