    Two portraits. A young man standing next to a pedestal, wearing a nice suit and carrying a cane. His hat is resting upon the pedestal. The second portrait is of a young woman, wearing a hat, produced by Vail Photographers in Marion, Ohio.

    Majority 4.25" x 6.5"
    Ohio; circa late 1800s

    A group of portraits from numerous photography studios around Ohio, including Baker's Art Gallery, Theo. H. Campbell, Michigan Photo Co., Keethler and Davie, Mulligan Bros., Urlin & Pfeifer Mammoth Art Palace, and Lane & Co. The subjects of the photographs range from all ages, including babies, young men and women, and mothers with their children.

    Condition: The cabinet cards show light wear, toning, and soiling, else good. The cartes de visite have moderate soiling and wear. The mount for the image of the young woman is splitting, and there is a hole in the albumen at the top left corner. The other CDV shows signs of fading and areas of soiling.
