Group includes: Sixth plate ambrotype of young soldier wearing forage cap and regulation nine button frock coat with very high collar and white gloves, standing in front of a painted backdrop. Full case, hinge repaired; ninth plate tintype of heavily armed Federal infantryman. Excellent condition but very dark. Wears forage cap, regulation nine button frock coat with high collar, full set of equipment, holding musket at his side and Colt pocket model up in front of him. In full case with hinge repaired.; ninth plate tintype, fine quality, just some minor discoloration, negligible. Wears regulation nine button frock coat with very high collar. Holds forage cap with top toward the camera displaying regimental number and company letter D. In full case, hinge split.; ninth plate tintype, early war with some minor bluing around the edge, else perfect and very fine quality. Soldier wears nine button frock coat with sergeant's stripes, opened exposing vest, and very high forage cap. In full case, hinge repaired. Interesting grouping.
