Albumen Boudoir Card: Fantastic Advertising Photograph, Phoenix, Arizona Territory, Circa 1900. A superb image with an example of advertising in the wastes of the Arizona Territory near Phoenix. The image features a small horse-drawn carriage upon which is propped a sign reading "Fine Underwear at Greene's The Hatter and Furnisher". A man in the carriage, presumably our Mr. Greene, stands before a sign he's just hammered into a rather lonely tree which reads "You Had Better Go and See Mr. Greene For Straw Hats". Greene holds the hatchet that he's just used to nail up the sign on the tree. The verso has a faint legend "Phoenix AT". A visually rich image in excellent condition. From the estate collection of E. F. Mueller.
