Abraham Lincoln: Cartes-de-Visite [CDVs] of The Great Emancipator, wife Mary and Cabinet Members.
Group of six CDV's including Abraham Lincoln, his wife Mary, and four of his cabinet members. Includes a rare Lincoln CDV, O-69, taken by Brady operative Thomas Le Mere in Washington, DC in April 1863. Full standing pose of Lincoln looking off into the distance as the Civil War raged on. Excellent tone and detail, light "ghosting" at the top from unrelated caption. Mary Lincoln, Brady imprint, Anthony/Brady back mark. Missing top left corner of albumen, else fine. Secretary of the Treasury Salmon Chase, Anthony/Brady back mark, Secretary of War Edwin Stanton, Brady imprint, Anthony/Brady back mark, Secretary of State William Seward, Brady imprint, Anthony/Brady back mark, Ambassador to Russia Cassius Clay, Anthony/Brady back mark. A fine group.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
