    Description

"Wild Bill" Hickok: Two Rare Cartes de Visite. A great image of his first Deadwood grave marker, apparently taken very shortly after his burial, along with a very desirable portrait carte with "Wild Bill" on the mount below. The first is in spectacular excellent-to-mint condition. The second we would describe as very good. There is moderate soiling and browning, but the photo surface has no flakes or scratches. The corners are evenly rounded, apparently as made. The grave marker carte is the first example we can recall seeing offered.
