    [Texas Rangers]. Group of Three Prohibition Era Photographs Following a Ranger Raid on an Illegal Still at Big Lake, Texas. The first, a silver print, measuring 5.5" x 3.5", features eleven men, most of which appear to be armed, standing in front of an early model truck loaded with barrels. An inscription on the verso reads: "Texas Rangers & Sheriff/Raid on a still at Big Lake." The second, silver print, 5.5" x 3.5", shows a flat-bed truck loaded with crates and barrels confiscated from a raid. An armed man stands at the back of the truck looking over the goods. An inscription on the verso reads: "Still & liquor at Big Lake." The third, 5.5" x 3.5" silver print, shows four men, at least one of whom is armed, standing between two loaded vehicles.

    Each print has a white border and show varying degrees of silvering in the darker areas.
