    [Abraham Lincoln]: Assassination Conspirators Photograph Album. 3 ½" x 5 ¼" embossed maroon leather photograph album with six leaves containing cartes-de-visite of Lincoln and the assassination conspirators. Replaced leather spine gold-stamped "Original Photographs of the Lincoln Conspirators". The cover has a 20th-century screened portrait of Lincoln affixed within the gold-stamped floral wreath. The album contains images of: Lincoln (copy image of engraving), Booth by Case & Getchell, David E. Herold by Gardner, Samuel Arnold by Joseph Ward, Samuel Arnold by Gardner, Edward [sic] Spangler by Gardner, Michael O'Laughlin by Gardner, Lewis Paine by Gardner, George A. Azterodt by Gardner, a reproduction image of John Surratt, "Mrs. Surat," [sic] and a reproduction image of Dr. Samuel Mudd. Many of these are quite elusive.
