[Kay Bailey Hutchison]. Excalibur Sword Presented to Kay Bailey Hutchison from Ross Perot. Produced in Spain for The Noble Collection, "King Arthur's Excalibur" has a 36" bright blade with dual false edge, gilded guard with paste stones, and a molded handle with paste stones topped with a gilded cornet pommel. Upon the blade are machine engravings of Celtic knotwork. Measuring 46.5" overall and mounted to a black display board with Celtic knotwork at the corners. Attached presentation plaque affixed to the upper left which reads, in full:

"Presented to SENATOR KAY BAILEY HUTCHISON. With deep appreciation for your many years of extraordinary leadership to provide proper medical treatment to our military forces who were wounded by chemical weapons in Desert Storm, and to develop proper vaccines to protect our troops in the future. You have lived these words throughout this 10-year ordeal - YOU CAN EASILY JUDGE THE CHARACTER OF A WOMAN BY HOW SHE TREATS THOSE WHO CAN DO NOTHING FOR HER and the words of Winston Churchill's shortest speech - NEVER GIVE IN, NEVER GIVE IN, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER! Thanks for your leadership, courage, and resolve, these wounded soldiers are now receiving proper treatment and disability payments, and research is continuing on how to protect our troops from these chemical and biological weapons in the future. Ross Perot."

Light scratching of the display board near the upper right corner and behind the sword. TSHA Donation. All proceeds, including Buyer's Premium, will go to support TSHA.
