"She's a Swell Plane, Give Us More!" Artwork by Robert Riggs, created as part of the war effort for the War Production Board. Featuring an aviator (possibly modeled off a Tuskegee Airman), who smiles as he removes his protective goggles.

The Tuskegee Airmen was the unofficial name for the African American pilots who fought during World War II. They were trained at the Tuskegee Army Air Field in Alabama, and made up the 332nd Fighter Group and the 477th Bombardment Group. The 99th Fighter Squadron was the first all-black squadron and the first to serve overseas in 1943.

Condition: Very good condition, with light toning. The linen backing has reinforced small tears at edges.
