    This lot includes: Ten black and white photographic portraits of Maugham, including: Copy of print by Karsh of Ottawa, featuring Maugham seated. 8 x 10 inches. Fine. [and:] Another copy of print by Karsh of Ottawa, featuring Maugham with folded arms. 9.5 x 12 inches. Very good. [and:] Portrait of Maugham in profile by Howard Coster from the early 1930s, with a blurb on the back titled "The 'Extinct Volcano' is 86." 8 x 10 inches. A couple of shallow creases. Very good. [and:] Portrait taken in 1944, with press release on the back starting with " Somerset Maugham will write first screen play for David O. Selznick." 8 x 10 inches. Fine. [and:] Tryptych of candid photographs of Maugham taken in San Francisco in March or 1936, with blurb about his visit to San Francisco. 11 x 7 inches. Very good. [and:] Page from Vanity Fair magazine (May 1933), featuring a portrait by Cecil Beaton. 9.75 x 12.75 inches. Very good. [and:] Page from The New Statesman and Nation magazine (January 6, 1934), featuring a caricature of Maugham by cartoonist David Low. Paper toned with some foxing. 9 x 13 inches. Very good. [and:] Matted portrait of a pensive Maugham in an open-collared shirt. 7.75 x 10 inches with mat. Fine. [and:] Candid portrait of Maugham (at 90?). 1937. Forty cards plus an additional Maugham card. Fine. [and:] A brass medallion measuring 1.5 inches in diameter, featuring Maugham's portrait. Very good. [and:] Five postcards: three of which are black and white photographic portraits of Maugham; a color reproduction of Maugham's oil portrait by Graham Sutherland; and one black and white portrait labeled "Pago Pago, Samoa - Saddie [sic] Thompson Originated Here."
