United Confederate Veterans [U.C.V.] Reunion and Event Badges.
Thirty-six [36] ribbons, badges, celluloid buttons and novelties issued in conjunction with various reunions and commemorative events. There are fourteen badges with red & white silk ribbons covering reunions from 1928 through 1940 (various faults to suspension ribbons). There are nine celluloid buttons (one a G.A.R. John Wanamaker pinback), of which four post-date 1920. There are three generic two-part brass souvenir badges, of which two picture Robert E. Lee (circa 1910). Other items include: a ribbon for the 1898 U.C.V. reunion in Atlanta, a celluloid ribbon from the 1901 reunion in Memphis depicting Nathan Bedford Forrest, a Virginia
delegate ribbon badge dated Washington 1896, a brass drop from Montgomery 1931, an impressive 2.5" x 12" ribbon for the "Gen. Turner Ashby Camp No. 22" (horizontal separation at top), a die-cut celluloid John C. Breckinridge ribbon badge from Louisville 1905, a ribbon badge with button issued at New Orleans 1903 (South Carolina Division), a 1941 ribbon from Atlanta, a very fancy "Hon President" rosette with gold metallic thread trim and tassels and, finally, the corporate seal for the "Libby Prison Museum Association".
