    Two Indian Trader Checks, Arizona & Indian Territory ca 1888 & 1909 - First check is from J. H. Sherburne Indian trader, Ponca and Otoe, Indian Territory. Raiser of and dealer in, horses and Indian ponies. Two great vignettes, one of bull with long horns and the other of Ponies in thunderstorm. Signed by him, also has purple paid stamp 1888. Second Check is from J. L. Hubbell, Indian trader dealer in Navajo blankets in Ganado, Arizona Territory signed by him. With punch cancel 1909. The pair measure approximately 8" x 3.50".
