TWO 1950’S CLASSICS BALLS. The might of 1950’s baseball is expressed in these tandem autographed balls. The first is an ONL (Giles) ball with 16 signatures of the National League’s 1955 All-Stars. Durocher and Kluszewski are placed at the sweetspot while the remaining signatures include Logan, Scheodienst, Mayo Smith, Crandall, Haddix, Buhl, Conley, Snider, Hodges, Frank Thomas, Mathews, Nichols, Musial and Randy Jackson. Categorically, these signatures are "9-10", except an identifying inscription which is faded. The other is an unofficial ball that 289 bears signatures of the 1952 World Series adversaries – Brooklyn and New York. There are 22 signatures on this ball which are very legible "8-9". Included are announcer Red Barber as well as Rizzuto, Dressen, Bill Miller, Labine (2), Reynolds, Erskine, Mantle ("7"), Pfiester, Hogue, Dick Williams, Bollweg, Joe Black, Ostrowski, Haugstad, Berra, Roe, Archie Wilson, Furillo and two others. LOA from Spence/Grad PSA DNA. (# This item may require additional shipping charges).
