DUKE ALBUM - RULERS, FLAGS AND COATS OF ARMS. The proliferation of trading cards in the 1880's was immense.  One of the major manufacturers was W. Duke & Sons who provided consumers with a beautifully illustrated 50-card production (Rulers, Flags and Coats of Arms) which appears in the American Card Catalog as N126.  For most of these early card issues, it was fashionable to offer a premium album identically replicating the cards.  Commonly, these were bound with a decorative twine, and their illustrations were lavishly adorned.  This album (A.C.C. A30) is 10" x 6 3/4" and none of its pages are missing (and all 50 of the cards are represented).  Though the binding twine is period, it doesn't appear to be the original.  The back cover has sustained moderate damage, and the front cover has corner wear rendering this album about GD/VG overall.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
