    Tombstone, Arizona: Rare Color Set of M. E. Fly Postcards. A rare set of twelve souvenir color postcards relating to the early history of Tombstone. The set includes 1) "Ed. Schiefflin, Discoverer, Tombstone, Arizona," 2) "Holdup in Arizona near Tombstone," 3) Panorama of "City of Tombstone," 4) "Old Geronimo on the Warpath in Arizona," 5) "Old Modoc Stage, Tombstone, Arizona," 6) Different pose of "Ed. Schiefflin, Tombstone, Arizona," 7) "Maricapo Princess, Arizona," 8) Different version of "Old Modoc Stage, Tombstone, Arizona," 9) "Mission San Xavier Del Bac, near Tucson, Arizona," 10) Two young children referred to as "Arizona Prospectors, Tombstone" 11) "Ed Schiefflin's Monument, Tombstone, Arizona," and 12) "Geo. Warren, Discoverer, of the Copper Queen Mine, Bisbee, Arizona." Each card carries a 1905 copyright of M.E. Fly of Tombstone. After the death in 1901 of Tombstone's leading photographer, C. S. Fly, his wife Mary "Mollie" Fly took over the management of the Fly Gallery until her retirement in 1912. In 1905, she published a book of her husband's photograph of Native Americans, including Geronimo. A complete set of these postcards are hard to find in today's market. The cards are in excellent condition.
