    Tombstone, Arizona: Documents Relating to The Tombstone Consolidated Mines Company. Four printed documents promoting investments in The Tombstone Consolidated Mines Company, Ltd., of Arizona. 1) A four-page printed brochure, 8" x 14 1/8" bifold, promoting investment in the company, which was formed by the consolidation of all the important mines of the Tombstone Mining District. The "Announcement" includes testimonials by prominent mining engineers, information of the Tombstone Consolidated Mines Company, and projected earnings. "Form 543" is printed at the top left hand corner of the brochure, which appeared to be printed in New York City by the company, circa 1900. The brochure has three horizontal folds, but otherwise is in good condition. 2) An undated 6 3/8" x 3.5"printed slip of paper, "Form No. 547," which states that C.I. Barker, 313 Clinton Avenue, Bridgeport. Conn" is an authorized representative of the American Finance & Securities Co, through which one can invest in The Tombstone Consolidated Mines Company. 3) A printed 7.75" x 3.5" slip of paper, "Form No. 544," circa 1902, which is a subscription form to subscribe for "6 per cent. Special Contract Bond of The Tombstone Consolidated Mining Company. This printed form can be filled out by the subscriber. Both of these printed forms were issued by the company and are in excellent condition. 4) A 15-page booklet, 4 7/8" x 7 3/8," "Form 559," which is entitled Illustration of Returns Upon an Investment. The pamphlet, printed in New York by the company, circa 1900, provides information on the return on investments in The Tombstone Consolidated Mining Company for 1902 through 1907, information of the company, testimonials. The pamphlet is in excellent condition. These promotional materials for The Tombstone Consolidated Mining Company are hard to find as a group.
