    Description

THE ALL STARS VS THE NFL. Among its many virtues, the Chicago Tribune, for many years, sponsored the annual meeting of college All Stars against a selected NFL team.  These games were intended to showcase the gridiron aptitude of that season's crop of college talent.  Here offered are four programs from that annual extravaganza.  All four games were played at Soldier Field in mid-Summer.  Specifically, 1948 - vs the Chicago Cardinals, featuring Bobby Lane and Lujack (EX+, incl. ticket stub); 1949 - vs the Eagles, with Norm Van Brocklin (EX, incl. ticket stub); 1974 - vs. Miami, featuring Penn State's John Cappelletti (mild stain on reverse - EX/MT); and 1975 - vs. the Steelers, featuring Walter Payton (EX/MT).  And for good measure, this group includes 2002's East-West Shrine Game, picturing Michigan's Gerald Ford (NM).  Additional shipping cost may apply.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
