THE 1941 YANKEES....and speaking of a 'balanced attack,' this '41 Yankee team was the blueprint.  Much is made of all the superstars in the history of the Bronx.  Indeed, DiMaggio stroked and impressive.357 that season.  But home run production was well-distributed through the lineup, and the winningest pitchers, Gomez and Ruffing, recorded only 15 victories each.  Nonetheless, the 1941 Yankees, as showcased in this composite photo (taken early 1942), easily captured the pennant and went on to crush the Dodgers in the World Series.  This photo, which is about EX, has a couple light/mild creases (evident at a fixed angle of reflection), and mild wear at the corners.
