    Description

Texas: Circa 1840 Map by George Conclin. 12" x 10.75" hand-colored map titled "Texas". The various districts are identified by "Grants" (e.g., "Burnet's Grant") or, in the case of Stephen Austin, as "Austin's Colony". Published in Cincinnati in 1840 in conjunction with Edward Stiff's book, "The Texas Emigrant". Normal folds. Loss along right edge where excised from book. Bleed-through from two tape repairs along the right edge. Still quite nice.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
