    Partial Document in the Reign of King Charles II. One page, 7" x 7.5", n.p., September 11, 1683, for a three month advance to be paid to an unknown individual. Signed by Laurence Hyde, 1st Earl of Rochester, as first Lord of the Treasury, Sir Edward Dering, 2nd Baronet, as commissioner of the Treasury, and Sidney Godolphin, 1st Earl of Godolphin, a member of the Privy Council who, along with Rochester, served as chief management of the affairs of the kingdom. Toning around the edges. Slightly soiled and stained.
