    The Town and Country Magazine; or Universal Repository of Knowledge, Instruction, and Entertainment Periodical. 112 pages, 5.25" x 8.5", with illustrations, London, February, 1773. Founded in 1769 by one Alexander Hamilton, a tabloid magazine featuring stories of adultery and scandals amongst the British elite. Most of the stories were fictionalized tales inspired by true events. Toned throughout, especially on the edges, and some foxing. Fine condition.
