    Description

Pennsylvania Chronicle and Universal Advertiser (Philadelphia) February 2, 1767: Repeal of the Stamp Act. 4 pp., 11 1/2" x 18 1/2", minor loss at top right edge, else fine. This is the Volume I # 2 issue of this Colonial American newspaper and contains the front page printing of a letter sent by the Pennsylvania General Assembly to King George III, thanking him for the REPEAL OF THE STAMP ACT by Great Britain. Very nice frameable American newspaper on the REPEAL OF THE STAMP ACT during the pre-Revolutionary War era.
