[William Henry Harrison] The Whip & Spur! Periodical. Vol. 2, No. 12, four pages, 10.5" x 15.25", Newport [New Hampshire], November 23, 1840. This is the final addition of The Whip & Spur, a paper in support of the Democratic party. In this addition, the paper laments the election of Whig President William Henry Harrison (1773-1841), who would only remain in office for 32 days, over the incumbent president, Democrat Martin van Buren. On the final page is this message to the reader: "With this number the "Whip & Spur" will sink to repose for a season. When another CRISIS is at hand, of sufficient magnitude to demand its aid, IT WILL APPEAR AGAIN. Till then, adieu!" Fold crease are worn and some foxing is evident; there is a small tear on the back page at the edge along the horizontal fold crease. In fine condition nonetheless.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
