    Massachusetts Gazette. Vol. VI, No. 348. Four integral pages, 9.5" x 14", Boston, July 17, 1787. Containing a report on the front page of "Mr. [John] Adams's Defence of the Constitutions of Government of the United States of America." Also a report on civil war in Holland and local news. Period ads in the rear. Evenly toned.
    Massachusetts Gazette. Vol. VI, No. 349. Four integral pages, 9.5" x 14", Boston, July 20, 1787. Containing a continuation of Adams' defense of the Constitution. Also, foreign and domestic news. Period ads in the rear. Even toning with scattered, light staining throughout.
    Massachusetts Gazette. Vol. VI, No. 350. Four integral pages, 9.5" x 14", Boston, July 24, 1787. Containing a continuation of Adams' defense of the Constitution. Also a report on the award of a Doctorate from Cambridge to Thomas Jefferson. Foreign and domestic news. Period ads in the rear. Light foxing.
    Massachusetts Gazette. Vol. VI, No. 359. Four integral pages, 9.5" x 14", Boston, August 24, 1787. Containing a continuation of "Doctor" Adams' defense of the Constitution. Foreign and domestic news, including a vivid description of a tornado: "clouds, running extraordinarily quick and low, were seen to meet over Northborough; a black fuliginous vapour instantly ascended from the point of coalescence, much resembling the quickest motion of fine smoke, disgorged from the chimney of an air-furnace." Period ads in the rear. Scattered foxing.

Repair of one fold that has begun to separate on page two and again on page four. Toned.
