    [Civil War]. Newspapers: New-York Daily Tribune, One Issue and One Partial Issue. Twelve pages, 15.75" x 20.5", January 1, 1866. With a one and a half page article listing the events of 1865, in chronological order including the fall of Vicksburg and the capture of Richmond, the surrender of Gen. Lee, the assassination of President Lincoln, the surrender of Gen. Johnston, and the capture of Jefferson Davis.

    Condition: Weakened folds; some light foxing.

    With four pages (pages 3-6) of the November 16, 1861, issue containing news from the war including the retreat of Union forces to St. Louis, fighting in Kentucky, news from Port Royal, the black perspective of the war, and much more.
