    Mrs. Kathleen (W. Gordon) Crawford: A Most Interesting Archive of Sarah Roosevelt Items. Includes:
    1. Original photo of the President's mother Sarah Roosevelt, taken the year before FDR's birth in 1882, inscribed and signed to Kathleen Crawford.
    2. Large studio photo of Sarah, dated 1938 and inscribed and signed to Kathleen.
    3. Twelve (12) different, mostly large-size original photos of Hyde Park (including interior) and Sarah Roosevelt, one circa 1930s with FDR.
    4. Large format photo of Sarah from same 1881 sitting, different photo inscribed by "Christine."
    5. Twelve (12) handwritten letters from Sarah Roosevelt to Kathleen Crawford. One two-page letter, written on Campbell Island stationery, discussing plans to return to Hyde Park ("We have two cars, mine and Eleanor's.")
    6. A great group of items relating to the 1939 visit of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth to America, including 1) Fourteen (14) original photos, most 8" x 10", including four with FDR (three of which show him with Eleanor, Sarah (in the center of course!) and the King and Queen. 2) Sarah's handwritten draft of telegram to the royal couple. 3) Engraved invitation to luncheon honoring them. 4) Official White House program from the royal visit. 5) Letter from King and Queen's representative to Sarah Roosevelt.
    7. Three (3) Eleanor Roosevelt White House Typed Letters Signed to Sarah all dealing with preparations for the royal couple's visit to Hyde Park. One with lengthy handwritten postscript, deals with where in the mansion various members of the royal entourage will stay, including "...the colored butlers can go in (indecipherable)'s rooms in the house and over stables."
    8. A variety of Kathleen Crawford's family photos and paper ephemera, including her class book from her posh New York private school Westover (class of 1920), with tipped in photos and autographs of all the class.
