Moxie, the soft drink, has a enduring kinship to baseball through its long-term Ted Williams endorsement.  The company, was based in Lowell, Massachusetts and, like innumerable companies of an earlier age, fielded an employer-sponsored baseball team.  We believe that this composite photo is a product of that genre.  None of its players are specifically identified (nor are the 'executives'), but this was serious business at one time.  This studio photo was likely taken in the 20th Century's first decade, and the team's successes on the diamond, of course, proportionately implied the virtues of the company.  The photograph, about EX, measures 9 3/4" x 7 3/4", and is now handsomely framed to include Moxie scorecards at the lower corners. Please note: Due to the size and/or weight of this lot, additional shipping costs may apply.
