    Description

Invaders from Mars (20th Century Fox, 1953). Insert (14" X 36"). Every kid's nightmare comes to vivid life in this classic paranoid sci-fi film from director William Cameron Menzies. Young Jimmy Hunt sees a spaceship land just over the hill beyond his backyard, but no one believes him, and when his father returns from investigating, he seems strangely changed. Highlights of the film include the literal bug-eyed monsters in green velour and the surreal production design (also by Menzies). There are pinholes in the center of the image, creases in the right border, two extra horizontal folds, and a light scratch above the title. This rare poster has outstanding color and clarity. Fine+. From the Jerry Weist Collection.
