    John F. Kennedy: Collection of Items Related to the Dedications of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the John Fitzgerald Kennedy Library. This six-piece collection consists of the following:

    (1) Official medal of the John Fitzgerald Kennedy Library bearing the images of John and Robert Kennedy on the obverse and the library on the reverse with the president's facsimile signature.

    (2) A cover commemorating the opening of the John Fitzgerald Kennedy Library and postmarked with the official dedication day cancellation on October 20, 1979.

    (3) The first official 11" x 14" JFK Library descriptive book containing many images of the president, the library, and artifacts contained within the library museum.

    (4) Official medal commemorating the opening of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts with images of the president and the center on the obverse and images of the arts on the reverse, along with the words, "IN COMMEMORATION OF THE OFFICIAL OPENING SEPTEMBER 8, 1971."

    (5-6) Two copies (one hard bound) of the "Opening Night Program of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts" on September 8, 1971, at which was performed the world premiere of Leonard Bernstein's Mass.
