John Dillinger: Archive and Badges of Chief Wollard, Dillinger's Captor. The highlight of Christopher Wollard's career as a law enforcement officer was the capture of John Dillinger and his gang in Tucson, Arizona on January 25, 1934. The feature item of this Wollard archive is a 14K gold and enamel badge by Entemann marked "C. A. Wollard Chief of Police Tucson Ariz." There is also a silvered-colored enamel badge marked "Jefe De Policia Estados Unidos Mexicanos Hermosillo Sonora C. A. Wollard". The gold badge is engraved on the back: "Presented by Members of Tucson Police Dept. Oct. 21, 1933 To Their Chief". These are housed in zippered leather pouches. The archive also includes a photo of Wollard and another law enforcement official while on holiday in Guaymas, ten engraved calling or business cards as Chief of Police, eleven various membership and i.d. cards, a driver's license in poor condition and a newspaper clipping.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
