JOE D.'S RESTAURANT - THE MEMENTOS. Following a sumptuous repast in DiMaggio's "World Famous Restaurant," a comfy after-dinner smoke and stroll through the souvenir shop would be in order.  Against that backdrop, we invite the reader to consider these little delights.  A) Three identical books of the Grotto's matches with images of Fisherman's Wharf on the front and the Clipper on the reverse (all virgin, but about EX/MT due to slightly rusted staples).  B) A more recent, full book of matches with an action image of Joe on the front (NM/MT).  C) A deckle-edged postcard featuring likenesses of Joe, Vince and Dom along with an exterior view of the eatery (a beauty with linen surface, NM/MT).  D) Another fine deckle-edged postcard with views of the restaurant's interior (also linen surface, NM/MT). and E) a positively splendid brass ashtray.  Artistically crafted to replicate a fish, this piece is 5 1/2" long, 4 1/4" wide and about 1/2" deep.  Though now mildly tarnished (and "D" of the DiMaggio logo missing), it still has a lot of milage in it - either as an ashtray or a paperweight.  Additional shipping cost may apply.
