HARVARD VS. YALE - 1916. Both had winning seasons, but this game was the finale for both schools in 1916.  And a bitter rivalry it was.  This was a defensive struggle throughout, and the Bulldogs emerged victorious, 6-3.  The celebrated event was staged in New Haven, in the cavernous Yale Bowl, and a moment in its proceedings was captured to provide the ages with this magnificent panorama.  Because of its seating capacity, the recently-built stadium (1914) hosted most of Yale's schedule.  Measuring 7" x 47", this must be the most expansive view of the stadium in existance.  It is framed and completely faultless in quality except for a small area of minor surface damage at the right border (about the size of a quarter dollar).  From the camera's vantage point, we see a Harvard banner wafting atop the other side of the bowl.  And in the distance, there's visible what we think is the basalt cliffs of what is now Sleeping Giant State Park.  This is a splendid panorama and a requisite to the accomplished collection of vintage Ivy League relics.  Additional shipping cost may apply.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
