    Partly-printed DS, "Sam Hopkins", one page with manuscript ship's return attached, also signed, 7.5" x 4.5", New York City, October 12, 1790.
    Partly-printed DS, "James Lovering", one page, 7.75" x 5.75", France, November 29, 1792, regarding a shipment of coffee.
    Partly-printed DS, "Laffert Lafferty ", one page with manuscript ship's return attached, also signed, 7.5" x 4.5", New York City, November 11, 1793.
    ADS, "Jno. Boering", one page, 8" x 6", New York City, August 21, 1794, regards a salt shipment of 840 bushels.
    ALS, "Will Shorning", one page, 7.5" x 9.5", Tappahannock, Virginia, September 4, 1799, to Joshua Sand, New York City, stating "one half Barrel Gunpowder has been landed".
    Partly-printed DS, "Peter Ludlow", one page with manuscript ship's return attached, also signed, 8" x 6.5", New York City, December 9, 1801.
    Partly-printed DS, "James J. Roosevelt", one page with manuscript ship's return attached, also signed, 7.5" x 6", New York City, October 12, 1802.
    Partly-printed DS, "Chas Stevens", one page with docketing, 14" x 7.75", New York City, a ship's return after a voyage from Havana. According to an old pencil notation, the signatory participated in the Boston Tea Party and was a colonel during the Revolution.
    ALS, "Falcott & Bowers", three pages with address panel, 8" x 10", New Orleans, Louisiana, March 14, 1818, to Nathaniel Cushing, Pembroke, Massachusetts, regarding a shipment of cotton.
    Aged as expected, averaging fine condition. From the collection of Henry E. Luhrs.
