Graham County, Arizona Territory: Criminal Complaint and Arrest Warrant for Theft. Two documents relating to the criminal proceedings against Nicolas Olguin, Arizona rancher accused of theft. 1) A criminal complaint, dated July 2, 1883, filed in Justice's Court, Graham County, Arizona Territory, against "Nickolas Arguin," by J. Martines for theft of a "Gray horse of the value of $50.00 also one 45. cl Winchester Rifle of the value of $25.00 - also one Colt Revolver (45) of the value of $15.00." The complaint is written in ink by G. W. Musgraves, as Justice of the Peace, on a Justice's Court printed document, 8.5" x 11." The verso of the document is printed in middle fold and is filled out by Musgrave, indicating that it was filed on July 2, 1883. 2) A warrant for the arrest of "Nickolas Arguin," dated July 2, 1883, and signed by Musgraves. The document, a printed blank Justice's Court form, 8.5" x 9 3/8," is filled in by Musgraves. The right hand verso of the form is printed and filled in and signed by Musgraves, indicated that it was filed on July 2, 1883. The left hand side of the verso has handwriting by Deputy A.G. Hill, who later became sheriff of Graham County and changed his name to George Olney, stating that certifying that authorities had "arrested the within named defendant," who was now in custody. The criminal complaint has two horizontal folds and one center vertical fold, the latter is weak and shows sign of residue of tape on the verso where the bottom horizontal and vertical folds meet. This document is a fair condition. The arrest warrant has two horizontal folds, with the top one showing slight tears and tape residue, which affects text. This document is in fair condition, with three small tears around the upper horizontal fold. Despite condition, these documents offer an interesting glimpse into the frontier justice system.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
