Graham County, Arizona: Sheriff's Expenses Relating to a Legal Case. A statement of sheriff's costs, 8" x 10.5", relating to the case of "Jesus Aros v.s. Hop Lee", dated November 18, 1889, and submitted by William Whelan, Sheriff of Graham County, Arizona Territory. The statement is on letterhead of "Sheriff, Ex-Officio Assessor and Tax Collector, Graham County" and filled in ink by Whelan. The expenses, $7.65, for which Whelan was reimbursed were for serving of a summons and serving a subpoena on 3 witnesses and the travel involved. William "Billy" Whelan served as sheriff of Graham County in 1889 and 1890. Known to be fearless, Whalen supposedly stared down both Ike Clanton and other members of a posse assembled by John Behan to pursue the Earp brothers and Doc Holiday, when they insulted his friend, rancher H.C. Hooker, in April 1882. This document highlights the everyday activities of a county sheriff. Outside of a vertical and horizontal folds, the document is in good condition.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
